Dinner time...

Dinner time is so much fun (usually, sometimes we battle over green beans). Lately though Scott is over eating from a baby spoon...thank heavens for the Beaba orange spatula that came with my baby food maker because that is the only thing Scott will take his meals from these days! We have tried a myriad of new foods lately: waffles (gluten free of course), rice puffs, broccoli, cucumbers (pictured above) and beans. As you can see we have been doing more finger foods and a little less pureed foods. Scott loves it all and is especially excited when I give him a big slice of a cucumber to hold by himself and nosh on! Its the little things in life!!!

Sneaky boy.....

Ah-ha...found the Christmas loot!

Sunny days...

How is Scott this big already? (9 month stats just because I never posted them: 29 inches & 23 pounds 6 ounces...HELLO!)

Yesterday we walked to the park...when we got there Scott decided to push the stroller around the perimeter of the sandbox!

When the stroller would get stuck on the curb by the grass he would literally body slam it with a running start until he could get it to move again!

Meanwhile Parker was happy to play with leaves or his stroller toy. He did watch Scott and laugh at him a few times!

Hurray for warm southern California winter days!

30th Birthday Party

The birthday boy and the baby boy!

Snowman at Casa de Campbell
Roaring fire outside
Cupcakes for the birthday boy (had to include these next few pictures so you could have a peak at some of my "decorations" aka pictures of Brian growing up. This first one is my favorite...glasses = awesome!)

Auntie Nicole with Parker J.
Scott was pretty clinging to me most of the night...that is until Beau showed up. Scott made a beeline for him...it was so cute!
Just drop this kid off at the north pole - Christmas elf in training!

Beau & Alexis arriving also means Ryker is here too! Ryker gave Scott his second wind around 8:00pm...they played cars for at least an hour! Scott definitely thinks Ryker is the coolest guy around!
Scott got to enjoy some fire time with Daddy and Grandma!
Meeting our friend Greg for the first time.
Uncle Matt and Brent - I love Brent's sweater. Hilarious. There are whales on it. I think he got it from an Eskimo!
Great friends + smores = a birthday night to remember

Some of the guests with Brian! We are so blessed by our many great friendships!

Telling "Brian" stories. I laughed so hard my face hurt! They were kept PG(maybe 13) and it was hysterical!
We had a great turn out for Brian's 30th birthday party last night! We kept things low key, watched the UCLA v. USC game, ate chili (which turned out to be the perfect meal because it was super cold out) and sandwiches from Italia Deli, a little hot chocolate (with or without Bailey's, mine = with), and had a fire and made smores! So many friends and family came to celebrate with us! Scott was in a pretty good mood for 90% of the night and didn't go to bed until around 10pm...then slept like an angel! Scott loved seeing all of his friends and family and enjoyed getting to play on the floor with cars, have tastes of new foods and sit by the fire with us! Brian (and I) appreciated everyone who came, it was wonderful seeing everyone and catching up! Thanks for all the laughs at the end of the night...you know who you are! We have the best family and friends (those who came and those who couldn't)...we love you all!

Christmas Cheer....

The Campbells love Chirstmas!

Before Brian's party we took the opportunity to take some family pictures in front of the tree (especially since when we went for professional pictures they didn't fly).
A family friend made this hat for Scott...can you handle the cuteness?
Wrapper is still on the candy cane, I don't let my 9 month old eat candy yet. He thought it was pretty great even with the wrapper still on though!

What I came home to today...

Hilary watches the boys on Friday mornings while I work...this is what I came home to today! Could there be anything sweeter! They slept like this for an hour!

Walking, Waving & A Tooth...

We have sure seen some big milestones in the past few weeks! Scott has been learning to walk for a while now and can take 7 or 8 steps in a row without falling and he pushes his car all over the house while walking. So it was time to get him transition walker shoes (that was a pretty penny). Guess who is so exited about his new shoes? Only when he gets to hold them and chew on them, not when they are on his feet! Scott also just learned how to wave hello! It is so cute and I wave at him all the time. When he woke up this morning the first thing he did was wave "HI" to us! L.O.V.E. And the first tooth has finally made its appearance....its just barely popping through!
