Yoga Mama...

On Monday, some girls from childbirth/yoga class helped out our instructor by lending our bellies to pose for pictures for her new website! Prenatal yoga has been one of the greatest parts of pregnancy. It has kept me strong and flexible, but more than that I have been surrounded by amazing women and have made irreplaceable connections! Our instructor, Robin, gives us so much in each class. I always leave feeling energized, uplifted, beautiful and strong! I know I will be able to use so much of what I have learned here during labor!

The photo shoot was a blast and I am thrilled Robin was able to share some of the pictures! She had the most pregnant bellies in front...I have the next due date in class (which means its my turn ladies!) so I was up front. I can't believe how pregnant I look (and swollen!) but I am amazed at what I am still able to do...and its really fun to have some pictures of something I have been doing and loving for the last 8 or so months!

On another note: today is 39 weeks! 7 Days until the due date! We are beside ourselves with excitement!

Valentine's Day...

Happy Valentine's Day Baby Boy!

Relaxing by the pool....Charlie looks thrilled by my cuddles!

Part of our Valentine's day excitement was putting up Scott's name in his room, his Mickey cell and mobile! His room is almost done and I love how its turning out!

"Pool guy", in attempts to save money we decided to clean the pool ourselves (ie we decided Brian would clean the pool) so we had a fun valentine's day morning of walking the dog, making coffee cake, doing yard work and cleaning the pool! It's been a great day so far!

We are not big Valentine's day celebrators, we have had a great weekend relaxing at home, taking a day trip to Santa Barbara and enjoying each others company! This may be the last or next to the last weekend before our baby boy arrives!

A shower for Cousin Parker...

This weekend was Hilary's shower for baby Parker, who is expected to arrive March 25th. It turned out great and I know mommy-to-be and baby Parker enjoyed themselves. Only a few short weeks until our two boys arrive!

Theme song...

So I know that this Michael Buble song is really about him meeting someone, as in significant other, but it always makes me think about our little boy! The first time I ever heard the song was driving to work and it was only a day or two after we found out we were pregnant! It instantly made me think about our baby! I especially love the part: 'Baby your love is going to change me!'
So this is the song I have listened to millions of times throughout my pregnancy in excitement and anticipation for meeting our son! And in 24 days (give or take) we will finally get to meet him!!!

Haven't Met You Yet - Michael Buble

I'm Not Surprised
Not Everything Lasts
I've Broken My Heart So Many Times,
I Stop Keeping Track.
Talk Myself In
I Talk Myself Out
I Get All Worked Up
And Then I Let Myself Down.

I Tried So Very Hard Not To Loose It
I Came Up With A Million Excuses
I Thought I Thought Of Every Possibility

And I Know Someday That It'll All Turn Out
You'll Make Me Work So We Can Work To Work It Out
And I Promise You Kid That I'll Give So Much More Than I Get
I Just Haven't Met You Yet

I Might Have To Wait
I'll Never Give Up
I Guess It's Half Timing
And The Other Half's Luck
Wherever You Are
Whenever It's Right
You Come Out Of Nowhere And Into My Life

And I Know That We Can Be So Amazing
And Baby Your Love Is Gonna Change Me
And Now I Can See Every Possibility

And Somehow I Know That It Will All Turn Out
And You'll Make Me Work So We Can Work To Work It Out
And I Promise You Kid I'll Give So Much More Than I Get
I Just Haven't Met You Yet

They Say All's Fair
And In Love And War
But I Won't Need To Fight It
We'll Get It Right
And We'll Be United

And I Know That We Can Be So Amazing
And Being In Your Life Is Gonna Change Me
And Now I Can See Every Single Possibility

And Someday I Know It'll All Turn Out
And I'll Work To Work It Out
Promise You Kid I'll Give More Than I Get
Than I Get Than I Get Than I Get

Oh You Know It'll All Turn Out
And You'll Make Me Work So We Can Work To Work It Out
And I Promise You Kid To Give So Much More Than I Get
Yeah I Just Haven't Met You Yet

I Just Haven't Met You Yet
Oh Promise You Kid
To Give So Much More Than I Get

I Said Love Love Love Love Love Love Love .....
I Just Haven't Met You Yet
Love Love Love .....
I Just Haven't Met You Yet

Bibs & Bottles, Diapers & Pins...

On Saturday, my sweet cousin Alyson hosted a Baby Shower for Scott! Above is the adorable tree from Aunt Kay

Cute baby cupcakes with binkis that Hilary made.
One of the incredibly cute and creative centerpieces made by Auntie Al. There was also a playtime, bedtime, bathtime, yummy and first aid themed basket...but Brian was particular to the Dodger one!

The hostess with the mostest!!

My spf&ever Auntie Erin!

Hilary & I sporting the baby bump cousins (Parker John 31.5 weeks & Scott Parker 35.5 weeks)

Grandma Karen in just a few short weeks...

Leilani and Scott's future BFF: Parker...they will only be about 6 months apart

Checking out some great stuff that Scott received

Like father like son...I can't wait to see both of my boys in their Puma gear!

Another mommy friend : )

Cousin Chantal and her beautiful diaper cake creations...so talented!

All ready for baseball season with tons of Dodger gear!

Scott's baby shower was so much fun! So many family members and close friends were able to come and celebrate! Everyone was so incredibly generous with their love, support, advice and gifts! We are definitely ready for his arrival! He is such a blessed boy already to have so many people that love him so much!

What are you doing in a month?

One month from today is our due date!!! I cannot believe how close it is getting! We are SO ready to meet him! Although I have allowed myself to start the 'one month countdown', I am mentally preparing to be a little late. I know that so many first babies are late and my mom was late with both myself and Hilary, so I do not want to get my hopes up that we will be meeting the little man in exactly a month. But, knowing myself, if the 25th comes and goes I am going to start getting very impatient! He will come when he is ready and each day that goes by is one day closer to being a family of 3!!!

Child birth class

Yesterday we finished our 8 week series of child birth classes! The class focused on natural childbirth and we really learned a lot. It was not always Brian's (or mine for that matter) idea of the best way to spend our Sunday evenings but it was worth the time we put in as we both feel prepared and confident about the birth experience! We met many other amazing couples and I cannot wait to hear their birth stories and see them all at the reunion, when we can meet each other's little ones!
