Just another day at the office...

Look who is so big he can lay on the table now!
Scott loves getting his adjustment!

BEAR

I'm under no illusion that my son is talking yet...but he is mimicking up a storm! He has mastered the "B" sound and says "bubba", "beebee", "baba" all day long! The other night he was holding a little stuffed bear and I told him that it was a bear..and he said "beee-aaah" and I said yes "bear"...."bee-aaah?" and we went back and forth like this for a few minutes. He also did the same thing with ball the next day "beee-AL". The other night we were in his room and he pointed (another new favorite trick) at his big bear and said, plain as day, "BEEE-AAH"! So now I look for bears everywhere so I can show them to Scott and he can say bear! So fun! Oh and he can also mimic "UH-OH" and he purposely throws things off his chair or out of the cart at the grocery store so we can say "uh-oh" together!

Rainy day fun

Cardio barre in the morning then a coffee date for mommies and boys!

The coffee shop we met at has a great playground outside, unfortunately it was soaked from the rain and freezing outside so we couldn't play on it...Scott could not for the life of him understand why on Earth we would stay inside when clearly the reason to come is for the playground outside.
"I don't know if you know this guys but the toys are out here." - spc

After the coffee date it was off to little gym.

Before class even starts Scott is already on the trampoline. He knows how to bounce himself and he gets so excited and proud when he does it!

Trick of the day: hand stands!

We are getting better at sharing!

We have enjoyed our rainy day so far...can't wait to see what's next once Scotty P wakes up from his nap!

Babysitting, Sharing & Michael Buble....

Monday night Hilary watched Scott in the evening while Brian worked and Kelly and I went to the Michael Buble concert! The concert was great, Michael Buble is talented not to mention funny, and charming...no wonder he is engaged to a 23 year old model...good for him! : ) Kelly and I had a great "date night" as we enjoyed the romantic melodies with our glasses of Chardonnay and selections from the desert cart (as always: thank you farmers!). And the last song was "I just haven't met you yet"...if you'll remember waaaaay back when I wrote about how the first time I heard that song was right after I found out I was pregnant and how it turned into my theme song throughout pregnancy!
Hilary is a ROCK STAR because she some how manages to corral the boys all evening and get them BOTH to sleep! I don't know how she does it...I think she will be getting her Hogwart's acceptance letter any day now because she must truly possess magical powers! Of course I have no pictures of the concert (ever since we went to the Mariah Carey concert a few years ago....yeah Brian and I rocked out, judge us if you must but it was awesome...and there was a camera fiasco getting into Staples (it turns out its an MC thing not a staples thing....diva much?) I don't bring my camera to concerts anymore for fear of having to go back and drop in my car) but I have the picture above of Scott and Hilary sharing an apple!

Recycling...

I promise this kid has loads of toys...but give him an empty bottle and he'll take that any day over his "baby" toys!

Santa Claus is comin' to town...

Tonight was an extra special fun night out. Brian has been working really hard the last few weeks to put on the Farmers Christmas event. Tonight was the first night and Scott and I were lucky enough to be invited to attend. We knew Santa was going to be there so we were excited all day to get there and meet him for the first time!!! We are so proud of Brian's hard work!

Yogi bear was there too!
Waiting in line to meet Santa...just sayin' hello to Mrs. Claus

Family photo op with Santa Claus
After our family picture with Santa, Brian tried to see if Scott would sit on Santa's lap...he would not! He clung to Brian like a little monkey! Oh well maybe next year (or next visit this year!) Funny side note: the photographer shooting the Santa pictures turned out to be our wedding photographer! It was so much fun seeing her!

We also got Scott's first ornament made...it turned out great!

Scott loved all the decorated trees and lights! We were able to stay for over an hour until Scott got fussy, then he and I came home and had a bedtime snack and went to bed while Brian finished up!

Dinner time...

Dinner time is so much fun (usually, sometimes we battle over green beans). Lately though Scott is over eating from a baby spoon...thank heavens for the Beaba orange spatula that came with my baby food maker because that is the only thing Scott will take his meals from these days! We have tried a myriad of new foods lately: waffles (gluten free of course), rice puffs, broccoli, cucumbers (pictured above) and beans. As you can see we have been doing more finger foods and a little less pureed foods. Scott loves it all and is especially excited when I give him a big slice of a cucumber to hold by himself and nosh on! Its the little things in life!!!
