S is for...

Scott and Parker got these jammies before they were born to wear next Christmas...turns out they are growing way too fast for that! So they get them now! Too stinkin' cute!

Sunday Funday

Yesterday we started the day with Sunday brunch...no pictures except for these of Ryker with chocolate fondue! Have you ever seen a kid so excited to be covered in chocolate?

We met The Daniels and the Blacks for brunch and had a long leisurely meal (champagne included - except for me!). Brian and I especially loved watching Ryker tackle the chocolate fondue and gummy bears...especially when he wanted more gummy bears and his parents said no he said "Ok I'll just go get some more for you!" I love seeing what we have to look forward to! Scott did well at brunch until the last 45 minutes or so...then he was just ready to get down and crawl and he wanted to grab everything on the table! Thanks to all our great friends for letting us pass him around to keep him entertained so we could eat!

After brunch everyone came back to our house for some pool time! And Adam made us delicious ribs for dinner!

Don't I have the cutest boys ever?

Scott thinks Ryker is the coolest guy around!

We had such a fun day with everyone! I just love summer!

I'll take ya for a ride on my big green tractor...

Just too darn cute in his hat! I thought the hat would be a bit big...turns out Scott has a giant noggin! And what a drooler! Thanks for my cool hat Aunt Charlotte!

Double Trouble

We took the double stroller out for its maiden voyage today! We are taking the boys to San Francisco and Catalina this month, so that combined with everything else we do together we figured we should pick up a double stroller for trips, babysitting, grandparent time etc. Here is what we learned: (1) Scott should be in the front seat because he kicked the back of Parker's seat the whole time. (2) The sun shades are terrible and don't cover their faces if you are walking towards the sun...always carry a receiving blanket for this purpose...in this case we used one of Brian's bright orange UOP shirts from my car...very fashionable! (3) When pushing a double stroller everyone will assume its twins! (4) If both babies end up wanting to be carried there is no one left to push the stroller...don't forget your front pack!
All in all it was a good pick up!

Cute boys

At yesterday's Mommy group all the boys showed up matching in their red, white & blue! Not planned but too cute!

Sticker Eater...

I had to write this story down before I forgot it! Last Friday morning when I changed Scott's diaper there was paper in it. Colored paper...and it didn't look like it came from the outside of the diaper...it was fully in it!!! Of course being the crazy mom that I am I had to take a closer look so I picked the pieces out (don't worry I used gloves). The paper was yellow and green with writing on it! WHAT?!??!!!??? I literally wracked my brain for hours and even asked his Thursday babysitter if she could think of anything he might have eaten. When I showed Brian he said it almost looked like a bandaid or sticker...GENIUS! Before I took Scott to the babysitter's house on Thursday I stopped at my office for something. Dr. Katie was there with her kids and one of them put a "YAY for my adjustment" chiropractic sticker on Scott. I totally saw it but figured I would take it off when we got to the sitter's. Well I forgot all about it and somewhere in there Scott peeled it off himself to play with it and evidently ate it! I watched him closely over the weekend and there was no signs of blockage or any complications so I wasn't worried! And no, I'm not crazy enough that I took a picture of the paper in the poopy diaper...you're welcome!

Weekend in pictures...

Friday we stopped by to hang out with our friends Andy and baby Zoey!

"Ooooh a baby!"

On Saturday we had family pool day...

The St. Amants

Sunday morning we did some reading...

And tried avocado...but Scott's face got blotchy after so we will be putting that one on hold for a while.

Then Uncle Aaron came over to play!

What a great weekend we had!
