Sometimes Scott and I struggle finding fun, quiet activities to do at home during Owen's naps. I usually try to coordinate Owen's nap with Scott's "quiet time", however, in the case of one 3 hour nap Owen took last week (can I get an Amen for that one by the way?!?!!) there was no way Scott was going to have a 3 hour quiet time. When the weather is nice we often spend nap time in the back yard, but that frequently leads to Scott wanting to go to the park, which obviously we can't do when Owen's napping. Last week we had some great weather and I had found this magnifying glass in the dollar section of Michael's so we did some backyard science and Scott was in heaven.
We looked at flowers, grass, leaves, dirt, moss growing on the planter box and the ground, a few bugs...
